Bob Gumatz, manager of retail solutions for CHS Inc., has nearly four decades of management experience in retail operations, specializing in retail operations, food safety, foodservice and inventory loss prevention. Although primarily concentrating in the gas/convenience and retail grocery industries, Bob's experience goes well beyond the retail business segment.
As manager of retail solutions for CHS Inc., Bob currently directs the development and implementation of dealer support programs, including manager and employee training, the company's retail inventory management software system and its site and market analysis program. Bob also assisted in the development of the company's Retail Operations Specialist Consulting Program. He led the development of foodservice franchise opportunities for Cenex-branded operators with national QSRs such as Taco Bell, A & W, Subway, Burger King, McDonald's and Pizza Hut Express. He has frequently presented at national convenience-store conventions and tradeshows such as Branding America and the Convenience Retailing University.
Bob is a certified ServSafe instructor and proctor, is a certified HACCP instructor, and is a member of the International HACCP Alliance.
